Email protection
Most attacks come in through email: a well-crafted phishing message, a fake invoice, a link that wasn't what it seemed. Managed email security filters all of that before it reaches the inbox, blocks phishing, spam and malware-laden attachments, stops impersonation and CEO fraud, and also watches that sensitive information that shouldn't leave doesn't get out. And it extends to collaboration tools, because the risk no longer lives only in the inbox.
Managed email and collaboration protection, across the whole of Spain.
Why
It is the first door for attacks, and the easiest: nothing has to be broken, it's enough for one person to trust the wrong message.
Most attacks start with an email. A single click in the wrong place and they are already inside.
Believable emails, with no mistakes, imitating a bank, a supplier or a colleague. They are hard to tell apart.
A payment order that looks like it's from management, or an invoice with the account number changed, and the money really goes.
It is no longer just email: dangerous links and files also arrive through collaboration tools.
What's included
It sits on top of your current mailbox and adds what its built-in filter doesn't cover, managed and fine-tuned by us.
Filters malicious mail and junk before they reach anyone's mailbox.
Analyses files and URLs, and opens anything suspicious in a safe environment to see what it does before letting it through.
Detects email that pretends to be from management or a supplier to slip in a payment or a fake request.
Extends the protection to tools like Teams and to the files that are shared.
Watches that sensitive information that shouldn't leave doesn't go out by email, before it is sent.
Keeps a full copy of the email, to comply when it's required and to recover what was deleted.
The approach
Every email goes through a check before it reaches the person. We look at who sends it and whether they really are who they say they are, its links and its attachments are analysed, and anything suspicious is opened in a safe environment to see what it does without risk. Only the clean mail carries on its way.
It isn't something you plug in and forget. The rules are tuned to your company, the evolving fraud attempts are followed closely and it all forms part of the same continuous monitoring our SOC, Sondriva, operates.
The built-in filter or this
Every business email already screens something. The question is how much of what really does harm it lets through.
It stops obvious spam and little more. Targeted phishing, a supplier impersonation and freshly created links slip past, and there is nobody fine-tuning it when the tricks change.
Attachment and link analysis, CEO fraud detection, data loss prevention and a team that tunes the rules to your company and watches what keeps changing.
So nothing leaks out
Email doesn't only bring risks in, it also takes them out. An attachment sent to the wrong person, a database forwarded by mistake or a copy that goes to a personal account are data leaks as serious as an attack. Data loss prevention, DLP, watches that outbound flow: you define what counts as sensitive information and the system warns or blocks when something tries to leave the wrong way, whether by email or from the device itself, on a USB or an upload.
It is also one of the measures the GDPR expects of you: if you handle personal data, preventing it from leaking is not optional. So this piece protects and, along the way, helps you comply.
When
Your company runs on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and email is everyone's tool.
Attempts have already landed in the inbox, or someone nearly took the bait, and you want to cut it off sooner.
Personal data or confidential documents pass through email and can't end up where they shouldn't.
The GDPR or NIS2 require you to protect information and show that email isn't an open hole.
Method
We link the protection to your email, whether Microsoft 365 or Google, without changing provider.
We define the rules to fit you, including the data loss ones, what is sensitive and what can't leave.
Malicious mail and junk stay out, and anything doubtful is reviewed before being let through.
We follow the changing attempts and adjust the rules so neither new phishing nor an extra false positive gets through.
Fits with
Email is the first layer, but not the only one. The protection is operated by our SOC, Sondriva, and is complemented by awareness, because the filter stops almost everything, but the final decision is always made by a person and it helps if they can recognise what slips through.
Archiving relies on managed backup, and whatever comes in by email and reaches a device is picked up by detection and response on the endpoint. All linked together, no gap between pieces.
Questions
Yes. The protection connects on top of your email, whether you use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and adds a layer above the filters they already include, without you having to change provider.
It is an email, what in security is called BEC or CEO fraud, that pretends to come from an executive or a trusted supplier so that someone makes a payment or sends data. It usually carries no malware, so the antivirus does not see it; it is detected by analysing the impersonation and the context of the message.
The built-in filter handles obvious spam, but it lets through targeted phishing, impersonation and new links. Managed protection adds attachment and URL analysis, CEO fraud detection and data loss prevention, and someone fine-tunes it for you.
Data loss prevention, or DLP, watches that sensitive information that should not leave does not go out by email, such as personal data or confidential documents. Rules are set for what counts as sensitive and the system warns or blocks when something tries to leave.

Yes. Preventing personal data from leaking by email is one of the measures the GDPR requires you to take, and data loss prevention covers it directly. We connect it with your GDPR compliance.
